This purchase can (potentially) save you quite a lot of money over a longish period. Instead of going to a watch repair shop, you replace the battery at half the price, and at your own convenient time.
However, you also need (to purchase) various watch case removal tools, and a (watch) vice, otherwise the batteries (alone) are of no use to you.

Acceptable for the price, but majority of the sizes neither use nor ornament ....far better buying known battery sizes from any one of several specialist suppliers at incredibly cheap prices anyway and far better service.

The card corner with the price was ripped off - using scissors would be more professional.
Bit overpriced, but at least I can obtain them again!

How to change a watch battery.
In order to replace most batteries you will need a case opener and tweezers, always make sure you rest the watch face on a soft towel to avoid scratches to the face. Case openers are very useful as they come with different pins to fit different screws, the handbook should tell you which pins to use. You adjust the pins by moving the wheel and handle. Most backs will twist clockwise to unscrew, but a few will go anticlockwise, again the booklet should tell you this. Once you have the back off, simply use the tweezers to carefully lift out the battery. |
