Packing may be a bit cheap but you dont by tools for this reason. I was a bit dubious about buying because of the price but was very pleased once received.
Within a few minutes I was able to remove the links from my watch and saved a few pounds on having the 'professionals' doing it.

Excellent value kit. Will pay for itself after a few uses. The main piece for link removal is the blue tray with a screw pin to push out or push back the link pins - easy to use (there are demos on YouTube). But it includes all manner of tools from tweezers, screwdrivers, pin tools, knife, watch back remover, toffee hammer etc and they are all well made. This is not a cheap plasticky kit that last a few uses. A genuine bargain!

How to change a watch battery.
In order to replace most batteries you will need a case opener and tweezers, always make sure you rest the watch face on a soft towel to avoid scratches to the face. Case openers are very useful as they come with different pins to fit different screws, the handbook should tell you which pins to use. You adjust the pins by moving the wheel and handle. Most backs will twist clockwise to unscrew, but a few will go anticlockwise, again the booklet should tell you this. Once you have the back off, simply use the tweezers to carefully lift out the battery. |
